Bowers & Wilkins’ P3 headphones over arching launch campaign message was ‘Concert for One’, so it seemed fitting to reveal the product at an exclusive, personal concert for selected press members and influential bloggers.
The location: Abbey Road’s iconic Studio 2. The difference: East London-based electronic outfit Portico Quartet performed in virtual silence, with audio being broadcast to each attendee’s P3 headphones via radio receiver. So instead of listening through a PA system, each audience member had the unique experience of hearing the live mix from Studio 2's control room. Concert for One, in every sense. Mindbomb's involvement included set and lighting design, logistics management and creative support.
